About the author:
Megan Fairchild is a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. At sixteen she moved from Utah to New York to pursue professional ballet training, first receiving an apprenticeship with the company and being promoted to principal dancer just three years later. In 2014 she performed for a year on Broadway, dancing the leading role in the musical On the Town. She is also the host of the Ask Megan advice podcast, a brand ambassador, and a master’s student at the NYU Stern School of Business.
